What Will My Job Cost?

The size and complexity of your project will determine the cost. Yes. Chompers Tree Service guarantees prices. We also will beat any legitimate competitor’s estimates for a project, too.

Is my tree dying?

Our tree care professionals can determine the health of the trees on your property. It takes a professional to inspect the tree to be sure. Trees that appear to be dying may actually only need some TLC; trees that appear to be healthy may actually be in danger of coming down. Our tree care professionals know what to look for.

What makes trees dangerous?

Trees that have structure defects, which are unstable or which have dangling or damaged branches are among the most dangerous trees. A large tree is not dangerous in and of itself unless it poses a potential hazard due to damage, disease or injury, or instability. Trees may exhibit structural problems at the base or up high. Our tree care professionals are experts in identifying trees that pose a danger.

Do you accept credit cards or have payment plans?

Yes. Chompers Tree Service does accept all major credit cards. To learn more about payment plans, please contact our office for details.

How can I reduce costs for my project?

There are several ways to reduce costs for a project. First, the scope of the work can be reduced to fit your budget. Second, the project can be broken into phases for better affordability. Thirdly, the project can be performed in the winter, when trees are dormant.

How soon will my project be scheduled?

If your project is an emergency, such as a fallen tree or tilting tree, we will do our best to address your needs as soon as possible. Scheduling care typically varies depending on the season. Typically projects are scheduled within 5 days to several weeks, depending on the size and scope of the job.

Do I need to be home when you perform the work?

Are you fully licensed and insured?

Yes. Chompers Tree Service meets or exceeds the legal requirements for licensing and insurance as required by each state in which we operate. Rest assured, each Chompers Tree Service carries liability coverage to protect your property from harm and workers’ compensation insurance for our employees.

Do your crews work safely?

Licensed & Insured: Does it Matter?

Operating a tree service is a risky business. It involves operating heavy machinery, and moving logs, branches and other parts of the tree which weigh thousands of pounds that need to be carefully lowered from over 100’ in the air to the ground in a safe, controlled manner.

As a matter of professional principle, we do everything possible to ensure our employee’s safety, and the safety and well-being of your property. We also ensure that we are fully compliant with OSHA Work Safety rules, DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines for safe vehicle operation, and all statutes and regulations that are issued by each state for which Professional Contractors must adhere.

We will not undertake a job if we believe that it cannot be done safely. The safety of our Team is our foremost consideration, followed closely by the safety of your property & possessions.

As a Professional Contractor, we are properly licensed to perform this work. At your request, we can provide a copy of our license for your review and information.

We are also fully insured. We carry millions of dollars of Liability Insurance as well as Worker’s Compensation insurance, general umbrella policies, and full vehicle and equipment insurance.

Insurance matters….a lot! Upon request, we will provide you with a Certificate of Insurance (COI)…almost always within 24-48 hours. Our insurance company will directly email/mail you a copy for your records. (Every contractor you do business with, should be able to produce this COI for you. If not, we suggest you find another contractor).
Our insurance protects you while we are on your property doing the work you’ve asked us to do. If we were to drop a tree branch on your shed, break a window, damage a deck, or any other major damage caused by us while in the process of doing our work, our insurance company will pay the repair bills. If you use a contractor who is not insured, and damage occurs while the company is doing the work, your insurance company will pay the repair cost, and of course your insurance rates will rise…sometimes dramatically depending on the degree of damage. Just a dose of reality: if your contractor doesn’t carry the appropriate insurance and you try to sue his company for your out-of-pocket expenses due to the damage he caused while on your property, there’s a good chance if he doesn’t have insurance, he also doesn’t have assets which can be used to pay your repair expenses
